Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad!
Today is my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. What a long time to spend with someone :) Just kidding. They are heading to Disney World to celebrate. I hope they say hi to Mickey for us.
I just wanted to say thanks to mom and dad for being such wonderful examples of a loving husband and wife over the years. Growing up over the years, I hardly remember them fighting or being mean to each other. Sure, they got frustrated and I'm sure they did take each other for granted sometimes, but I remember them always loving each other.
I hope my kids can say the same about my marriage when we've been married 40 years.
Happy Anniversary! We hope you enjoy your trip and can celebrate 40 more years together!

Thanks Lara for the Anniversary note, sorry we were not home to read it on our Anniversary Day but it was still special when we got home from our trip. Disney was wonderful, as always, but we did miss having all the daughters and their families with us. Looking forward to our trip in June!!
