A White Christmas!

What an awesome surprise today! It started snowing around 11:00 this morning and hasn't stopped. We spent the day at the historic Dayton House in Worthington with Britney's dad's family. It was a great day with great food, cards and time with family.

These pictures are some I took really quick once we pulled into the driveway tonight. So far we've gotten about six inches of fluffy white snow and it hasn't stopped! I don't know how much we're due to get, but what a perfect way to end this Christmas Day!

Now, that's what I call a "White Christmas". You've always wanted to say you had at least one white Christmas in your lifetime; and now you have. (It's actually just one of many more that you will have if you stay in Minnesota for very long). It looks beautiful! I'm glad to hear that you had a wonderful Christmas Day. Our blessings are many aren't they? God is good!
Sending my love to all,
Mom

Wow, that's really pretty. I'd like that if I could play in it, and then rush in and sit in front of a fire while I drink a mug of hot Maggi. (That's what I remember doing while I was growing up.)

Hope and pray you are enjoying this holiday season even though you are away from your family.

Love,
Elke

I love these pictures. Love the red chairs even more. It seems as if I might have a red addiction...

And I have to say, I've never heard of hot Maggi. It sounds good, but made me giggle a little, because the first thing I thought of was your dog...

Fyi- for your blog readers, Lara(deanna)-
Maggi is a German seasoning/bouillon cube that my mom would make. Often we drank it in a large mug mixed with hot water as an alternative to sugary hot chocolate or caffeine drinks.
