A Sense of Accomplishment

She did it! Ashlyn finally learned to ride her bike yesterday. It only took about 20 minutes of me really working with her for her to get it. And I didn't even lose my patience for the whole 20 minutes!! That was my accomplishment for the day :)

Anyway, here she is in all her glory! She is so proud of herself.

By the way - this is her awesome bike that someone was just going to throw away until I rescued it out of their junk pile!

SOOOO Proud of her also. I remember trying to teach you and your sisters not only to ride bikes but how to drive. WHAT an experience

Her bike looks like that blue one that we had growing up! Good job, Ashlyn and GREAT job, Lara for keeping your patience!! But, where is her helmet, young lady?? :)

Congrats Ashlyn! And, my memory may fail me, but I believe I had a hard time getting the hang of the bike riding as well. Also, the house looks great! and I love your 9/11 post. I am just now getting caught up on face book and blogs so forgive me. But it was fun to read everything that I missed. Can't wait to see you all in a couple weeks.

Great pics Lara. I love the first one, such concentration on her face.
